We take your security and privacy while visiting our site very seriously.
- SSL Encryption is active at all times during the ordering process.
- Credit card information and personal information is never sent via e-mail.
- Your personal information will not be sold, traded or made public in any way.

Billing and Shipping Policy
Orders are billed to your credit card upon being received. Your credit card will be billed for all items on the order including backordered and special order items. If you select products that are "special order" along with items which are normally "in-stock," our default policy is to hold the order until all items arrive for shipment. You are offered the choice to have items that are in-stock on your order shipped right away, however, you will incur added freight charges for multiple shipments. Back orders and special orders will be shipped as soon as products arrive in stock. In some cases items will be drop shipped from manufacturers or wholesale sources when deemed most expedient and appropriate.
If you order has all in stock products it will usually ship from the ASO warehouse within 24 hours of your order being placed (Monday through Friday). No shipping occurs on Saturday or Sunday. Orders placed from late afternoon Friday through Monday morning will be processed on Monday (except for National Holidays)
Our Backorder Policy
The ArtSuppliesOnline (ASO) Backorder Policy is based on whether the items you have ordered are designated as "Quick Ship" or "Special Order"
While we strive very hard to maintain adequate stock levels of our "Quick Ship" items and usually fulfill 90% or more of all orders designated as such, but we do run out or low from time to time. This is especially true of seasonal products or Promotional items. Should the situation arise where we have only a partial quantity available for a "Quick Ship" item(s) we will ship you what is available and backorder the remaining quantity. If the item is completely out of stock you will be notified within 24 hours after your order is placed.
In general ASO will automatically backorder products that we think we can obtain within 30 days and send them immediately when back in. If the 30 day window can't be met we will cancel the backordered items. an in addition we will not backorder products if the total value is less than $5. If the backordered item(s) will take longer than 30 days or is under $5 we will email you a refund notice and issue a refund to the credit card you provided.
All backordered items we retain will remain on backorder with ASO unless we receive further instructions from you. As a retail distributor ASO relies upon our many valued suppliers to help maintain our inventory levels. Situations do arise that are beyond our control that can cause backorders delays to you our valued customer. ASO will try hard to communicate with you about such situations.

Return Policy
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE:
ASO intends that all products sold are of the finest quality and free from
defects. Please open and inspect your order immediately upon receiving it. If
there is a problem such as freight damage or defects with any product you
have ordered, please contact us immediately via e-mail (returns@artsuppliesonline.com) or telephone (1-800-967-7367). We will replace
any defective or damaged goods, and make a pickup request to return the
problem merchandise at our expense. We require that we are notified within 48
hours of you receiving an order that contains damaged or defective
merchandise caused by the freight carrier. Please refuse damaged cartons or
sign for your order noting any damage to cartons or boxes. ArtSuppliesOnline
will not replace (at our expense) any damaged shipments where we are not
notified within 48 hours of your receipt of your order.
UNDAMAGED RETURNS:
If within 30 days of the shipment date you decide you wish to return any
unopened and unused merchandise you may request a return authorization.
Returns must be in original packing/boxes. There is a 15% restocking charge
and you will be charged for return shipping charges (return shipping charges
will be subtracted from your credit amount, not actually billed separately).
All returns must include a return authorization, so please do not ship items
back without contacting us first. Some special orders and promotional items
