The viscosity of Galkyd Gel Medium is so high, it has no flow, so it holds brush and other marks in place. It iss a high cohesion, fast drying medium that mixes and thins with all Gamblin artists’ materials.
• 10% Gamblin Gel Medium + 90% oil paint enhances transparency without decreasing viscosity.
• 90% Gamblin Gel Medium + 10% oil paint creates a glaze impasto, a technique unavailable to the Old Masters.
